Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ServeBot LLC ("ServeBot," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Shadow Cricket mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the App.

As of the Effective Date, Shadow Cricket is an offline MVP. The App does not require account creation, does not provide online multiplayer, and does not use a ServeBot-operated backend or cloud database for gameplay or user account storage.

3. Information We Process

The App may process the following information locally on your device in order to function:

  • nickname chosen by you;
  • handedness selection;
  • tutorial status;
  • gameplay settings, preferences, and local progress;
  • camera input used for pose detection;
  • pose estimation or movement-related inferences generated on-device for gameplay.

As of the Effective Date, ServeBot does not intentionally collect, store, or transmit this information to its own servers because the App currently operates without a backend service.

4. Camera and On-Device Pose Detection

Shadow Cricket uses your device camera to detect your body movements so that you can play virtual cricket by performing batting motions in real life.

Camera input and pose detection are used solely to enable gameplay. As of the Effective Date:

  • camera processing occurs on-device;
  • pose detection occurs on-device;
  • video or camera footage is not uploaded to ServeBot servers;
  • ServeBot does not maintain a remote database for storing such footage.

5. No Account Registration

You are not required to create an account to use the App. The App currently does not support user login, account registration, cloud synchronization, or online identity profiles.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements, including rewarded advertisements.

These advertisements may be served by third-party advertising partners or software development kits ("Ad Partners"). If Ad Partners are integrated into the App, those Ad Partners may collect, access, receive, or process certain information through their own technologies in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable law. Such information may include device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, device characteristics, diagnostic information, impression data, reward-verification data, fraud-prevention signals, or similar information required to serve, measure, secure, or optimize ads.

ServeBot does not control the privacy practices of third-party Ad Partners. You should review the applicable privacy policies of any third-party ad services used in the App.

7. Information Sharing and Disclosure

As of the Effective Date, ServeBot does not share your gameplay data, nickname, handedness selection, or camera footage with ServeBot-operated servers because no such backend infrastructure currently exists for the App.

However, information may be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:

7.1 Advertising and SDK Providers

If the App includes third-party ad or SDK integrations, those third parties may receive information as described in Section 6.

7.2 Legal Compliance

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
  • enforce our agreements;
  • protect the rights, property, or safety of ServeBot, users, or others;
  • detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

7.3 Business Transfers

If ServeBot is involved in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

8. Data Retention

Because the App currently functions offline and without a ServeBot-operated backend, information described in Section 3 is generally retained locally on your device unless and until you delete the App, clear app storage, or remove the relevant data through device settings.

ServeBot does not currently maintain remote user data records for the App, except to the extent data may be processed by third-party Ad Partners or as otherwise required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is a motion-based game and may be used by a broad audience. If a child uses the App, permission management and use of the device should be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

ServeBot does not knowingly require account registration for the App as of the Effective Date. However, third-party ad technologies may have their own age-related or legal compliance requirements. If you make the App available to children in regulated categories or jurisdictions, additional disclosures, controls, or ad restrictions may be required.

10. Your Choices

Subject to your device and platform settings, you may:

  • decline or revoke camera permissions;
  • limit or reset advertising identifiers where supported by your device or operating system;
  • delete the App;
  • clear local app data from your device.

Please note that if you deny camera access, core gameplay functionality may not work.

11. Data Security

ServeBot uses a product design that, as of the Effective Date, minimizes data transfer by operating offline and processing gameplay on-device. However, no device, software environment, or third-party SDK environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own device.

12. International Users

The App may be downloaded and used in multiple countries. If third-party advertising or SDK services are used, those providers may process information in jurisdictions other than your own in accordance with their own legal terms and privacy policies.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We may do so, for example, if we add analytics, accounts, cloud save, multiplayer, live services, customer support tooling, or new advertising or SDK integrations.

If we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
